Bruno Hubert

Bruno Hubert is Libra Room's artist in residence and artistic director. You can catch him for dinner time playing solo from mondays to thursday, every week. Usually from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Bruno is a uniqueand amazing piano player. He is usually described as

"Canada's best kept secret".

Bruno was born in Maniwaki, Quebec, and moved to Vancouver

25 years ago to pursuit is dreams of playing music everyday.

 

 

 

The Harmonic Cosmonauts

The Harmonic Cosmonauts are a five-piece Jam band from the Vancouver area with a style like no other. Drawing influences from virtually every genre, they've assembled a wide spectrum of original material from blues to jazz, funk-fusion and heavy metal. The Harmonic Cosmonauts (or THC) have been exploring music and performong together for years and have become true entrepreneurs in the Vancouver Jam band scene!!!

Zazueira

is influenced by a variety of styles and rhythms such as Bossa Nova of Joao Gilberto, the samba and chorinho of samba schools and the Brazilian pop strongly influenced by the Tropicalia movement from the north of Brazil. Zazueira brings together the classic of the Bossa Nova with the originality of the samba schools in modern variations such as samba reggae, samba rock and pop, giving the music a high energy of exciting flavor.
