 The Grand Trine
A Grand Trine is created when three planets, each separated by 120 degrees, form a perfect triangle and when added together equal 360 degrees, making a full circle. In Astrology, it is the most harmonious configuration possible. The three women in the Grand Trine reflect this harmony and interact expressively in their clever arrangements of traditional jazz and latin starndards. Acoustic bassist and vocalist, Orith Fogel is a dynamic and lively musician with a clear and expressive voice. Cat Toren is a strong improviser and a passionate and interactive pianist, and Melissa Hammer’s trumpet playing features her rich tone and strong melodic lines. The Grand Trine will be recording new material in the summer and looks forward to sharing their artistry

Gordon Grdina is a Vancouver based Oud/Guitarist whose sound is a combination of his interests in mainstream jazz, free-form improvisation and Arabic classical music.
A protégé of jazz great Gary Peacock, he is a well respected contributor to the jazz and world music scenes constantly being sought out for projects that need a fresh sound.On Guitar Gordon leads the groove trio Loose Acoustic www.looseacoustic.com they have two CD’s under their belt and are currently managed by Turner Music and Events. Gord Grdina Trio has a suprising improved sound that will lift you up your feet.

Kostaman & The Good Vibrations
His unique music is a creative mix of Rock, Experimental, World-Beat, Blues and Reggae genres. Kostaman was established in June 2004 and has performed over 1100 shows within the last 6 years that have included performances on both local and international stages. He has performed for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic events, The Telus World Ski & Snowboard Festival in 2005 and 2006 alongside internationally acclaimed artists such as; Toots and the Maytals, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Xavier Rudd, etc. Kostaman has also performed as an opener for International acclaimed artists that include; Long Beach Short Bus including members from Sublime and Dub All Stars, Fishbone, Jah Cutta and more... Kostaman has performed at many Western Canadian Festivals including The Koots Roots Culture Festival, The New Music West Festival, The Wild At Arts Festival, The SERF Festival,The Telus World Ski & Snowboard Festival, The Pemberton Festival and more...
