Cat Toren Band

Based in Vancouver, Canada, Cat Toren is beginning to make a name for herself internationally as composer, bandleader and a talented new voice on the piano. Joining her in the "Cat Toren Band" is drummer Daniel Gaucher and bassist Russell Sholberg. These three musicians create quite a dynamic; from gentle, passionate ballads to angular, dissonant improvizations. Their debut CD includes 8 original compositions said to be influenced by greats such as Brad Mehldau, Jason Moran, Charlie Haden and Maria Schneider.

Bruno Hubert

Bruno Hubert is Libra Room's artist in residence and artistic director. You can catch him for dinner time playing solo from mondays to thursday, every week. Usually from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Bruno is a uniqueand amazing piano player. He is usually described as

"Canada's best kept secret".

Bruno was born in Maniwaki, Quebec, and moved to Vancouver
