The Funk Bucket book ranges from Herbie Hancock classics such as Butterfly and Cantaloupe Island, to Led Zeppelin, Elvis Costello, and Stevie Wonder, along with their own original material. Born from the rhythm section of local Funk/Afrobeat band, Groove Pandemic, Funk Bucket already had a well established chemistry from over a year of playing together. Combining their love of a strong groove with the freedom of improvisation in a small group setting, Funk Bucket is poised to create a stir on the Vancouver Jazz scene.
